What is BOTOX® Cosmetic?

BOTOX® Cosmetic, the #1 selling product of its kind in the world, is a purified protein, onabotulinum toxin A. How BOTOX® Cosmetic works

BOTOX® Cosmetic blocks signals from the nerve to the muscle which temporarily reduces muscle activity in order to smooth areas of repeated muscle contraction (such as squinting or smiling) and temporarily reduce brow lines, frown lines, or crow’s feet. As the muscle ceases contracting, lines and wrinkles begin to smooth and heal. BOTOX® Cosmetic also prevents the worsening of lines and wrinkles. BOTOX® Cosmetic is indicated to prevent excessive sweating of the under arms.

What we love about it

BOTOX® Cosmetic is widely-used and well researched. More than 11 million individuals have received treatment and BOTOX® Cosmetic is approved in 78 countries worldwide. It’s safe, effective, and inexpensive. It’s called a lunch-time procedure because there’s no recovery time.

What to expect

Your first consultation and facial analysis will reveal if BOTOX® Cosmetic is right for you. At treatment time, a micro-needle is injected at strategic pre-determined muscle points of the face and/or neck. Some patients report the sensation of a pinch and ice or numbing cream may be applied for sensitive areas. The whole procedure takes 10 minutes and you can immediately return to regular activities. Best results are achieved within 5-7 days and last 3-4 months; with continued treatment, less frequent administration is possible.

How many treatments?

Noticeable results begin within 24 hours with best results in 5-7 days and results last up to 4 months.
